FAQ

Can I use this commercially?

Yes. The API is free and can be used in commercial projects without limits or attribution.

How often is the data updated?

The API exposes the pricing records currently published by PricePulse. Monitoring is in beta, so update frequency is not guaranteed; consult each company page for its source and verification date.

Is the data accurate?

Records are editorially reviewed against public vendor pages where a source and verification date are shown. Coverage and history vary by company, and the API should not be treated as a contractual quote.

What if I need more features?

The free API includes all core data. PricePulse Pro adds real-time alerts, Slack/email notifications, negotiation templates, and team features starting at $19/month.

Rate limiting & fair use
Free API with no authentication limits.

The API is completely free and open to anyone. We use fair-use rate limiting (standard Vercel limits) to ensure reliability for all users. For high-volume use cases or custom data, contact us.

📊 Free tier includes:

  • 44 companies across 17 categories
  • Published pricing-change records
  • Search, filter, and category APIs
  • RSS feed for subscription
  • No auth, no API keys

Need optional monitoring alerts?

Free API: public lookup and search. Starter: beta monitoring for up to 10 URLs with hourly checks and email alerts.

Monitoring still requires an end-to-end production verification before it is described as fully verified.
